The Best Natural Remedy to Beat Allergies Everytime

Natural Remedy to Beat Allergies

With the rain and cold setting in and spring on the horizon, many of us are suffering from pretty miserable seasonal allergies and sinus infections.

What if I told you that allergies are not due to mold, pollen, trees or food like many of us have been told? Those allergens elicit a response, but it is our immune systems that overreact to this perceived threat.

Our immune systems produce substances called antibodies that protect us from cancer, endocrine disruptors, and all infections. The immune system is also what is responsible for overreacting to perceived threats in every autoimmune disease.

I’m a firm believer that our bodies are not imperfect and can heal given the proper tools. In fact, it is my belief that autoimmune conditions are NOT our bodies malfunctioning, but instead they are reacting to a continuous toxin or pathogen that has yet to be identified. If removed, the body may return to homeostasis. We as a collective are also deficient in vitamins due to our monotonous diets, eating way too much sugar and processed carbohydrates, full of fillers from vaccines and heavy metals that interrupt our immunity, have hereditary malabsorption issues, and are dealing with the overprescribing of antibiotics, steroids and birth control pills. We also live in a very toxic world where a lot of our food, water and personal care products have unnecessary fillers and added chemicals.

When you have allergies, your immune system is producing antibodies due to exposure to things like pollen, dust and even pet dander that it perceives as harmful, even though they aren’t. This polluted world is causing a lot of our immune systems to go haywire!

So without further ado, I wanted to give some information about how to quell allergies, like sneezing, coughing, itchy and watery eyes as well as sinus problems. In my opinion, this combo kicks the snot out of any over the counter synthetic medicines.

Natural Remedy to Beat Allergy

  1. Vitamin C-This powerful antioxidant lowers histamine levels by up to 40% if you take 2000mg. Histamine is a substance made by our mast cells that is responsible for the sneezing and hives that we experience when we come across an allergen. Take 2000mg/day.
  2. Queriticin-This is another flavonoid that is wonderful for preventing the release of histamine in lab studies. Excellent for warding off hives and swelling. Take 200mg/day
  3. NAC-or N-acetyl-cysteine is great for binding up toxins and is used in emergency rooms for Tylenol overdoses for just this reason. It is also used in my Colon and Liver Masters. Why? It is the precursor to the master antioxidant, glutathione, which helps detoxing immensely. It is also one of the best expectorants and mucus thinners around. Take 200-400mg/day.
  4. Bromelain-hails from the pineapple and actually is synergistic with and enhances the absorption of querticin. Its excellent at breaking up mucus, decreasing swelling and reducing congestion. Take 200-400mg/day.
  5. Stinging Nettles-I personally love this herb for so many reasons. It is in my Heavy Metal Master! Not only does it chelate heavy metals, but it also decreases histamine release. 50% of those that tried it said it worked better than over the counter antihistamines! Take 100-200mg/day.
  6. Diet and Lifestyle changes-Last but not least, look into NAET or applied kinesiology/muscle testing, which has greatly improved allergies in my patients. The body has innate knowledge that we are not always privy to. Tapping into this knowledge can often grant answers that many of us have been searching for. Don’t forget about diet changes which are paramount. Cut out sugar, bread/carbs and dairy to see a drastic improvements. If this isn’t feasible for you, at least try it during bothersome months when allergies are at their worst.

Much Love and don’t forget to always be your own best doctor,
