Unfortunately in today’s backwards world, truth is kept hidden from the masses who accept reasoning from authorities rather than doing their own research. Lies are truth, war is peace and enslavement is called freedom. We are told the accelerated vaccine schedule is for OUR health, we are told that pesticides keep the food clean and are good for pest control (what pests are they referring to exactly?), and that electing psychopaths is the only way to free ourselves and the world. We bought it. Hook, line and sinker. Amongst the masses there are those stirring and questioning the authority and guidelines that have been laid before us. There are some who are able to read between the lines and those people are desperately trying to awaken and warn the masses. If you are one of those people reading this now, it should not surprise you that there are many pollutants like pesticides sprayed into the environment without our collective permission or knowledge. Pesticides, like Monsanto’s Round Up are now widely used across the country. Recently the World Health Organization classified Round Up as probably carcinogenic. Monsanto is responsible for multiple carcinogens and teratogens and recent studies are linking them to allergies, asthma and autoimmune conditions. Recently Monsanto had to pay 93 million dollars to Nitro, West Virginia (only 45 minutes from where I grew up) after they were found guilty of poisoning the citizens with Agent Orange chemicals. It is a difficult pill to swallow when you are trying your very best to live a healthy life without exposure to toxins, chemicals and unnatural manmade substances that can overwhelm our delicate immune systems. It is even more infuriating to learn that some of your hard work is offset by secretive exposure to these very pesticides we all try very hard to avoid. Here are some shocking places that pesticides are sprayed “for your safety” and without your permission. Remember, knowledge is power!
1. Airplanes-yep its true. Believe it or not, airline carriers do spray pesticides on international flights due to the fear of insect vectors, mites or lice that might carry disease from one continent to another. The method of dispersing pesticides on planes does vary. The choices include spraying aerosol herbicides/pesticides in the cabin while passengers are on board, or spraying the airplane’s interior surfaces with a residual insecticide when passengers are not on the plane. The scariest part about all of this is the World Health organization’s statement on why disinsection should be encouraged…”Although some individuals may experience transient discomfort following aircraft disinsection by aerosol application, there is no objection to any of the recommended methods of aircraft disinsection from a toxicological perspective.” It is a sad fact that pesticides lower immunity, cause gut inflammation, allergies and skin reactions. Multiple studies since the WHO professed this lie have confirmed that Round Up is teratogenic and carcinogenic. In fact, in 2012, the “Quantifying Exposure to Pesticides on Commercial Aircraft” was released that highlighted Flight crews symptoms when exposed to pesticide aerosols. It was funded by the Federal Aviation Administration. The report concluded that flight attendants on commercial aircrafts disinsected with pesticides are exposed to levels that result in elevated body burden and internal accumulation that exceeded levels in the general public.
Of note, there has been legislature that was passed a few years back that includes a requirement for airlines to inform passengers of their pesticide practices, sadly however, the Department of Transportation has not turned the legislation into a regulation. Hmmm…..
What countries permit this? According to the link listed below, Cuba, Ecuador, Grenada, India, Kiribati, Madagascar, Seychelles, Trinidad and Tobago, Uruguay, Australia, Barbados, Cook islands, Fiji, Jamaica, and New Zealand.

2. Schools and Daycares-Its unfortunate in today’s world that we even have to think from this perspective. Sadly, many public schools use round up or other harmful pesticides on school grounds and lawns to keep the property well kept. Many sporting fields on school properties are also treated this way. This is at the expense of the future generation’s immunity. Not only is round up found on school lawns, but also in school mandated lunches. The produce is not organic unless specified. The pink slime mystery meat is also likely injected with growth hormone and antibiotics. The schools are literally feeding the children “dead food” and telling us it’s for their benefit.
“Of the 40 pesticides most commonly used in schools, 28 are probable or possible carcinogens. 26 have been shown to cause reproductive effects, 26 damage the nervous system and 13 can cause birth defects.” -www.panna.org/resources/schools-playgrounds
In fact, in 2007, 7 children were hospitalized and 11 more fell ill when organophosphate fumes from a farm drifted over to school grounds. And we wonder why studies are now showing that this generation may be the first to not outlive their parents’ generation.
This means if you are a parent than it is your due diligence to ask questions. Do your research. Don’t assume and be a detective. Question the school’s groundkeeping policies.
3. Doggy Daycares and Dog Parks
Since all sentinent beings carry the majority of their immune systems in their gut, it stands logically to reason why pesticides would also be harmful to our treasured pets. Many people think if they are not physically exposed to the pesticides then they are not at risk. Consider that many exposures are due to toxic fumes. Also, our pets are physically exposed and then return home to us, where the exposure continues. Be sure to also buy high quality food for your pups too, as most of our modern pet food is from the lowest quality meat scraps, fed GMO seed and chock full of pesticide exposure.
Some cities in the northwest are taking action. Both Seattle and Portland have passed laws concerning pesticide spraying in city parks and lawns. Be sure to call around and question park regulations and laws. Your voice can spark conversation and change policies!
4. Your Own Home or Backyard
If you hire a third party to landscape your lawn, or a pest control company to flea bomb your home, you are more than likely exposing yourself to harmful insecticides. Check out this link from the Washington Post that tells the true story of a woman who became ill enough to have the doctors consider a multiple sclerosis diagnosis due to her symptoms. She had just had her house treated for fleas and the symptoms began. After multiple doctor visits and a physical and occupational therapy, as well as a requested Freedom of Information Act from the EPA, the physicians began admitting that this was likely an aggressive immune reaction caused by pesticide exposure. The FOIA revealed multiple complaints including minor and major human incidents reported to the agency caused by the very pesticide that she had been exposed to. Some of these complaints ranged from dizziness, tremors, numbness, fatigue and even inability to walk or memory loss. Pretty scary stuff. What can you do about it? Again, investigation work on your own. Inquire about products used by landscaping companies on your lawn. Question pest control companies. They often leave out harmful details and disclosure in lieu of profit. Look for green and organic companies and ask for a list of the products that they are deeming safe to use.
5. Fresh Cut Flowers
WAIT what? Yes its true. If any flower or piece of produce looks exquisitely pristine for days, it is because it has been doused with a chemical concoction giving the appearance of natural, sustained beauty. It simply isn’t true. Nature innately knows when a piece of fruit no longer has the level of antioxidants or beneficial ingredients to sustain life. This is why fresh fruit spoils quickly or flowers wilt. It is a defensive system to alert us. Nature designed it this way so that we know what is fresh and what is not.
Sadly pesticide laden roses for Valentine’s day is not the only problem. Over half of the garden plants sold at stores like Home Depot and Lowe’s are pretreated with pesticides prior to hitting the shelves.
Now that you know, the only remedy is to educate others and stop putting your money where the issue lies. Start your own garden or shop locally and ask questions.
6. New Cars
The “new car smell” that many of us enjoy as a reward for purchasing a new car is actually a chemical concoction containing such ingredients as formaldehyde, carcinogens like benzene, volatile organic compounds and brominated flame retardants. In one study, over 60 chemicals were found inside the interior of 4 vehicles. How this affects one human to the next remains to be seen. The danger here lies in the fact that these companies lobby to use manmade substances that have not been thoroughly and routinely tested. Absolute power and money corrupts all.
7. Coffee and Teas
Even if your diet is clean and organic, you are still drinking high levels of pesticides in your morning cup of Joe or evening cup of peppermint tea if you are not buying organic. This is the BIG problem in trusting the corporate Starbucks world. Coffee beans are one of the most pesticide sprayed crops in the world. For example, herbs like peppermint or spearmint are allowed up to 100 times higher the levels of Monsanto’s glyphosate, or Round Up. The first time this is washed off is when you are steeping it in your cup. Celestial Seasonings has blatantly refused to release a public report about its pesticide use in teas. Boycott much? I’m only talking about pesticides here, but even higher levels of fluoride have been found in some teas.
Ensure that you are purchasing certified organic coffee and tea. This guarantees that the conditions and processing have been thoroughly monitored by independent agencies and found to be free of pesticides. The monitoring agencies physically visit the farms and verify the process by which processing, preparing, transporting, storage and roasting of the beans occurs.
8. Public parks, golf courses-
San Fransisco has been implicated in heavily spraying its public parks in recent years. In fact, one resident, Victoria Hamman, lost her dog to oral cancer after she had noticed him eating grass in the public parks. There have been petitions on Change.org for just this reason.
Both Portland and Seattle as well as some towns in Northern California are passing ordinances to reduce pesticide use in public parks. Portland and Seattle both require 50 feet no spray buffer around water and parks as well as advance notice prior to application to warn its citizens.
The more knowledge you possess, the more passion you have to push change. Educating yourself and others is a way to spread a message larger than any single individual. Pesticides are now implicated in many chronic diseases and cancers. As a collective, we must decide what world we want to leave for future generations.
